Our Story
The creators behind Mira Lani Hawaii are both decorated former competitive surfers with resumes full of contest wins, editorials and sponsors that included brands like Roxy, Oakley, Girl Star, Sector 9 and Da Kine. Once competitive rivals, Mirabai and Lani bonded after a sudden family tragedy and discovered common ground in their love of surfing and life. This transformed their rivalry into an unbreakable friendship that made them realize they were better together as a team.
The idea for Mira Lani Hawaii sparked after a typical Mira Lani Day (surfing, tanning, shopping, laughing, dining and ending with a champagne toast while enjoying the sunset). It was a moment of pure synchronicity, and that night two began building a brand that captures the essence of their luxe island surf life.
Mira Lani Hawaii is all about fostering friendship and sharing Maui’s aloha spirit while enjoying life to the fullest. We’re here to uplift and inspire, sponsoring contests and supporting amazing humans who have the same passion for surfing and positive vibration in life as us. Our intention is to bring a splash of luxury and femininity to the world of surfing.
